Dael I think your English has gotten noticeably better.

I know the cl_maxfps setting has an effect on the jumps.  Do you guys use 90 on all those jumpmod maps?

yeah, i'd be interested in knowing what cl_maxfps does best for jumps.  However, that might be different for different pc's and monitors??

I use 90 for normal, until I get frustrated, and try cl_maxfps 112 and find it was a higher fps jump.. but my voodoo3 dont even push 100 fps anywayz ;D

Hahahah burn! If its not all you jumping then you should name yourself in the jump mod" Haunted+Script".I use 33 cl_maxfps btw.And I do most jumps fine.Except that dang evil circle jump that I can only do sometimes.  :dohdohdoh:

I don't use a single alias for anything.  I'm more inclined to side with BigWig.  I prefer to do as much of everything on my own than use scripts, etc., to assist.  Just my personal choice.

When he showed up for our last LAN, i wanted to slap him on the back of the head for having his settings so freaking dark, i couldnt even see to watch him over his shoulder, lol.

i remember that.. then I gave him my cfg and pak and he seemed to get like 10x better.

Yeah, I just recently downloaded Purri's pak (before that I used the one Element gave me, which I liked a lot as well), it changes some skins, weapon/power-up sounds, map textures, etc.  It's pretty cool.  The machinegun is made totally silent for some reason, and I don't like that much.  Maybe I'll bother to download a PAK file editor and hunt down the MG sound file and change it with the old one.

But yeah, the PAK files helped a good bit I'd say, makes it easier to stay focused on what's going on, and not have certain skins act as a type of camouflage on certain maps.

As far as any player inputs, timing on jumps, any sort of movements, etc., I do all with the mouse/keyboard and hitting the mouse2 button really quick if I can, etc. =)  And that makes me special!

sounds to me like you are referring to strafe jumping.  where you gain lots of speed by slightly twisting your mouse as you leap from the ground and hit the jump key just before you land each time.

This is double jumping.  which allows you to jump higher then normal off of any type of ledge or edge.  Best example being up the crates on q2dm1 towards the mega.

that would be circle jumping if I'm correct..

strafe jumping is when you hit the strafe key and jump key at the same time. and in repeated sequence, it's referred to as bunny hopping.
