Okay, it's down to predm1 and city64. After deciding the map, all that's left is the date. At this moment in time, I'm going to say
SATURDAY MARCH 22nd @ 7est

If this doesn't work for the bulk of people, feel free to post about it, and we can change things around to ensure that we have MAXIMUM body count!

Note for Predm1. This is a large map that you WILL NEED TO PREVIEW FIRST. Also as a quick strategy tip. There are a lot of sections in the map with water current. R1q2 "out of the box" has changes with client side prediction that prevent swiming against the current. If you are not familiar with the proper client settings to fix this, you may consider using a standard client for this single match. This may ammount to a large advantage.

If anyone knows the proper client side settings to allow a player to swim against current in R1Q2 please post.

Wise advice indeed. It's a big, hallway-based affair. Quite an impressive map, really. I haven't heard too many complaints about the proposed time, so we might call that official. Let's make this one big

Ooh, good catch.

R1ch is working on a fix for the water current strafe issue, so it should be in the next release of r1q2.

In the meantime, builds 7387 and earlier of r1q2 work. Builds 7391 and later have the water problem. (I don't know if client side settings can overcome it or not.)

No, the old build is too old to work with anticheat...

UPDATE: r1ch has put up a prerelease build of the latest r1q2 that fixes the water strafe:

However, since it's a prerelease build it doesn't work with anticheat either. (I'm still hoping this may be remedied before Saturday.)
