Push the small and large crates to a spot near the crane lifting device. Jump on the small crate, then the large crate, then the crane magnet. Jump from the crane magnet to the platform, enter the office, and obtain the security pass.

Using the security pass, enter the power plant (downstairs). Find the power controls for the 
crane and turn it on. 

Use the crane to pick up a crate and try to force the vehicle door control to budge by ramming it with a crate carried by the crane. Some of the crates may not be heavy enough to do the job. Hint: You aren't heavy enough, so you know you need a crate that weighs more than you.
