Distance clipping may occur if this option is not used. Sorry. *BUILD INFO* Build Time: 30 hours Run Map time: 6 Hours Utilities Used: Tread 3D v. 1.12 & Nem's Mega 3d Terrain Generator v2.2.0 *INSTALLATION* If you get this zip file intact, follow these steps: 1. Right click on the zip file. 2. Select "Extract to...". 3. In the "Extract to:" blank, select the directory "C:\Quake2\baseq2\" 4. Under "Files", select "All files" 5. Check off "Use Folder Names" 6. Select "Extract" 7. To run map, get into Quake 2, bring down your console by selecting your "`" key right above the "tab" key on your keyboard, then type in "map leray23" and this should call up my map. This should put the files in the correct folders You can also view the file "leray zip.doc" in this zip file, which shows you how your zip should look before you extract the files. *NOTES FOR MAP* This map was created for the Q2 Mapping Challenge of 2003 hosted by tIKi_mAn. @ http://www.planetquake.com/tikidomain/. The rules of the challenge limited me to using only 10 custom textures, so I used a mix of custom and original Q2 textures for this map. It has one large center room surrounded by 3 smaller rooms. One room has a floor switch which activates a sewer pipe that dumps sewer into the floor and rises up to kill unsuspecting victims. If you look down immediately after activating the switch, you will see the sewer rushing out of the pipe. This is not a good thing to see when you are on the floor. he he It has one teleporter and several jump pads that help you access upper levels. I hope you enjoy this one, I think the connectivity is really good and you won't be away from the action for long!
