Difficulty Settings: nope Base System: Celeron 333-not oc'd /128 RAM /Voodoo2 Blackmajic Player load : ARGH-COUGH-BLEHHH !!! (i hate this catagory) i think 4-8 ffa seems to be about right it boils down to personal opinion and thats why i usually don't bother with recommending a number. * i am no good at makin bot routes, the Erasers i use don't like the jump pads anyway but if you (read whoever) can make and send me a good one i'd be indebted =) * *BUILD INFO* Build Time: 14 hours Utilities Used: *Tread *more Tread *and even more Tread, it has it all. Build Machine(s): same as above Final Compile Machine: " " " QBSP3 : 19 secs QVIS3 : 5 hrs. QRAD3 : 45 mins. Known Bugs: Most likely, a "hom" for sure , man those are hard to get rid of *INSTALLATION* if you got this zip file intact just aim this puppy at your baseq2 folder and let go. *NOTES* The case is made in this map that great textures can make an ok map better (opinion Maric) The most seen textures in this map are the cobbled walls and they are the beautiful work of Kevin 'Rorshach' Johnstone and this map would not have looked so good without them. Look in the "jackboot" folder in the texture folder for even more info on them (please). I always wanted to create a castle that had a gritty feel and maybe a little more "flow" then those i have seen in Q2, i hope i have secceeded. The biggest problem with this type of map of course are the dreaded "r_speeds" (God curse them) but i believe they are very much under control here. The only sustained "hot-spot" is when you are on the front two bastions looking down, its a sitting duck possition anyway =). OH YEAH please let me know what you think good or bad, i'm not overly sensitive either just go easy with the harsh language, remember we live in a "society".
