QRAD3 : 769 secs. Known Bugs: maybe not... *notes I wanted to try and get the beautifully-ugly look that weathered, rusted and decayed concrete and steel have. I also wanted to throw in some mixed colored lighting. I tend to stay away from too many colors in one map but what the heck. This is my second choice for layout and was needed due to some very high r_speeds, the area near the MH has changed a bit and I was able to cut the r's by half =) The name "Weathered" was somewhat inspired by listening to the lates "Creed" disc by the same name. I was working on this map trying to think up a name and then low and behold I purchased the new CD and the rest is history... It is ugly in a way but I hope someone likes it, the weapons, as has been my habit of late are "over the top" and that is just the way we like things on "Backshooters". There are 2 Railguns, 2 Rocket launchers, 2 Chainguns and a smattereing of the rest. The weapons favor the "Awakening" mod and that is just what I play most of the time nowadays anyway. We play at 207.114.0.70:27918 You will need that mod files and we do have local copies here;http://quake2.abs.net/pub/mods/q2/ Drop in and give it a try. Our other servers are at 207.114.0.70:various and sundry ports... Go here---> Our web site www.backshooters.com *INSTALLATION* if you got this zip file intact just aim this puppy at your baseq2 folder and let 'er rip. *COPYRIGHT/PERMISSIONS* "Marics53 & Weathered" is Copyright (c) 2001 by Shon M. You may distribute this map on the internet, on a network or other electronic medium where it can be obtained for FREE, i strongly urge you to pass along this text file so that folks can see the time i put into typing it. That said just don't put it on any Cd for distribution without first informing me at s-shaffer@home.com Please don't use this map as a base for building other maps likewise : You may NOT convert this .bsp file into a .map file or reverse engineer it in any way. If you get this far, you know, i really don't care what you do with the map as long as you have fun with it and don't claim it as your own if your not me of course. NOT that i think that it is good enough for others to want to claim anyhow. Thanks : Maric
