*\cTARGET_PRECIPITATION Rain/Leaves/Snow are cool, but if abused you'll no doubt generate SZ_GetSpace:Overflow errors and make Mr. Hyde look bad, which will make him grumpy(er). Case in point: If the rain in this room is turned on while you're reading this, you are most likely also seeing: *Netchan_Transmit: dumped unreliable messages in the console. That's a precursor to SZ_GetSpace:Overflow and is an indication that there's just too much going on. Be sure to turn off the effect in one room before turning the effect on in another room, or... you'll be sorry :) *Rain\n This room uses style=0 (single raindrop). While it looks good, it is impossible to generate a downpour without causing SZ_GetSpace:Overflow errors. The other rain in this map uses style=1 (10 drops). You can produce a much heavier rain with fewer entities using this style, but limitations with placement and visual anomalies (e.g. raindrops passing through solid objects) make it a bit more trouble to use. *Lightning\n The lightning in the other rain room is accomplished with a sprite. Any artists out there? Yes? Good... make the lightning look better. *Leaves\n The lifespan of leaves on the ground is controlled with 'fadeout'. Sorry, there's no good way to make the leaves land correctly on a flat surface so that they don't appear to be embedded. Try to live with it :)
