Description : A very ambitious first map with many unique special effects. For use with Quake2. Additional Credits to : ID software! ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : Just to look around Deathmatch : 2-8 players, 7 deathmatch starts. Difficulty Settings : No * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor(s) used : Qoole Known Bugs : None Build Time : too long Compile machine : P100 with 48M QBSP Time : 103 sec QVIS Time (level 4) : 1313 sec QRAD Time (extra) : 3060 sec Brushes : 640 Entities : 480 * Special effects * Smoke! Decontamination unit (gives 35 health if you're nekkid, less according to armor quality), funky teleporters, shimmy poles in place of ladders, wacky blast doors and chill out spots, going for the quad makes the map more dangerous till it runs out, blinking lights, BFG under glass (heh), climbable structures, some other stuff. * Other Info * Weapons and architechture are highly reminicent of DM4 for Quake1, however it's also totally different. Good r_speeds but GL is recommended because some of the FX slow down software mode (when tested on a P100). Eraser bot has some problems with this map because it requires a bit more than artificial intelligence to effectively navigate, but they were competent enough to playtest with. * Copyright / Permissions * In accordance with the official Quake2 license: You shall not rent, sell, lease, lend, offer on a pay-per-play basis or otherwise commercially exploit or commercially distribute this Level.
