12-6-98 (refined stand animations) ================================================================ Model Name : Mercy installation directory : quake2/baseq2/players/mercy Author : Iikka "Fingers" Keranen Email Address : iikka@ionstorm.com Skins : Mercy -- Fingers Stat -- Sharpnel CTF skins -- Supreme_B Sounds : RedChurch Website Address : http://www.planetquake.com/ikq/ Model description : An alien mercenary with a cybernetic railgun for his right arm... He's very large compared to the standard male player, but still fits into the bounding box. (I don't know why the original models are 8-10 units shorter than the bbox..) Anyway, not as big as Rhino or Terminator, so don't worry about that :-) This is my first Q2 PPM, and possibly the last. It's not quite where I wanted it to be, and I would do it better next time, but I think it's good enough to release anyway. I got some guys from EFnet #model_design do more skins, so now you can play CTF. I would still like someone to make a bit more original design for the CTF skins, with the team logos included... And maybe more deathmatch skins as well. RedChurch may be doing a sound pack. Additional Credits to : * The makers of NST, q2m and Gfx2 * Ken Scott for giving me the inspiration for parts of the skin :) ================================================================ * Play Information * New Sounds : Yes (Made by RedChurch; read mercySFX.txt) CTF Skins : Yes VWEP Support : No * Construction * Poly Count : 792 tris.md2 / 69 weapon.md2 Vert Count : 403 tris.md2 / 37 weapon.md2 Skin Count : 2 DM, 3 CTF (color/shading layers and a mask for the mercy skin included) Base : Scratch, except a few Q2 textures have been used in the skin... They look a lot better now. * Copyright / Permissions * QUAKE(R) and QUAKE II(R) are registered trademarks of id Software, Inc. This model is not to be distributed as part of any commercial product.
