=============================================================================== Title : Resistance Is Futile II File Name : mkfutile2.bsp ZIP Size : 298 Kb BSP Size : 679 Kb (unzipped) Version : 20th October 1999 Author : Martin "Killer" Kilcoyne E-mail : martin8@clara.net Web Site : http://www.planetquake.com/killer Killer's Map Repository - Updated on a fairly regular basis, this is home to all my Quake II deathmatch maps. You will also find plenty of news about what's happening in the mapping community, articles by me about all sorts of stuff, loads of links to Quake related sites and more (of course :-) Description : This is a complete rebuild (from scratch) of one of my earlier maps "Resistance Is Futile". With more than a year between the release of MKFUTILE and this sequel there has been plenty of time for me to better my map making skills. I hope you agree with me that this map is far superior to the original (which is too bright, lacks finesse and has an awful VIS error in it :-) The layout is virtually identical with the Grenade Launcher room showing the most significant changes. So, if you played the original you will feel instantly at home here and if you didn't then you should find that the layout is distictive enough to be commited to memory in a short space of time. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy the map. =============================================================================== By the way if you run or know of any server running this map then please e-mail me (martin8@clara.net). =============================================================================== N.B. (Eraser users only): I have also included a route table in this zip. This will allow you to start using the map immediately with the Eraser Bot without having to "teach" the bots the level. To use it just unzip the file "mkfutile2.rtz" into your "C:\quake2\eraser\routes" directory BEFORE you load the level for the first time, otherwise a route called "mkfutile2.rtz" will be automatically created and you will have to delete this and then replace it with my version. =============================================================================== Other Stuff by Author : The Triple Towers [mktriple.bsp] Metallic Resistance [mkmetal.bsp] Resistance Is Futile [mkfutile.bsp] The Rust Bucket [mkrust.bsp] Depot of Decimation [mkdepot.bsp] * KTDM1 - Iron Oxide [ktdm1.bsp] * KTDM3 - The Colosseum [ktdm3.bsp] * KTDM5 - Enemy Mine [ktdm5.bsp] * KTDM7 - Silicon Avatar [ktdm7.bsp] * Only available as part of KT-imPAKt map pack http://www.planetquake.com/ktimpakt =============================================================================== * Play Information * Game : Quake II Single Player : Just to check out weapon placements etc. Deathmatch : Yes (9 spawns).
