q2ctf4.ent - Outlands - Entity File


Included in the L-Fire CTF distribution is an entity file for q2ctf4 (Outlands). As everyone knows,
red base is at a disadvantage compared to blue base if the BFG has been banned from the server.

This new entity file has been designed and playtested to give the red team more of a chance in the
Outlands. The new entity file adds a pack of rockets, two packs of cells, a pack of slugs, and a
railgun to red base. In addition, the rocket launcher has been moved away from the respawn pad and
to the bridge in order to prevent a spawn protected player from respawning, grabbing the rocket
launcher, and killing red base defenders while he is spawn protected.

If you want to use the custom Outlands entity file, then you must rename the entity file from
"nobfg_q2ctf4.ent" to "q2ctf4.ent". The file is named "nobfg_q2ctf4.ent" in the L-Fire CTF
distribution so it won’t accidentally be loaded if you don’t want to use the custom entity placement.
