we should start a new promotion that's "play q2 to stop the spread of swine flu". Can't spread flu through playing q2 so it fits!

Did anyone get a count on the total players last night?

Great to know that Spawngirl's item placement scaled well for much more players than usual.

...I just still think it's funny that we had so many players that spawn girl's map overrides didn't have of enough spawn points.

It held steady at 19 clients for quite awhile. (18 + wallfly)

(Although, there was one poor dude with 3.20 who spent most of the time downloading.)

Due to the amount of effort that is going into the 3d Realms fund raising event the splatter fest this week is basically not going to happen.

I do suggest that everyone show up at the CTF server. I think I'll haunt that server tonight while I work on some more of the details for the 3DR event this week.

This weekend is straight up Deathmatch! Well, different maps, but we focus so much on mods I thought it would be great to have a "plain" DM game. I'm setting up my server for 64 players so we can get a LOT of people hopefully on there!

Also, Iron Grip Warlord is having a splatterfest type event the same day (12 hours long). I think it would be great if we could "crosspollinate" & after the splatterfest get some Q2 players over on their servers. Show them how completely kick-ass Q2 players are.

Maybe even get some new q2 players who want to play on our servers!

Hmm, did we talk about this before? If so, I forgot.

Anyway I can set it up if you tell me the map lists for the "rotation" and the maps that should be in the "mymap" list.

we talked just about setting up q2admin & getting wallfly on my server(s).

but the rotation would be dynamic (depends on the mod & what I feel like putting in. I jump between mods so qpong would be different vs leper vs awaken, etc) & maps that would be in list are all of them (i think I have all the DM maps TS have, plus one by me & a few by peewee).

For a splatterfest I'm not so picky about autorotation because me, peewee & jehar all have rcon & server access, so we can change to whatever people feel like playing. It's for if one of us isn't there.

This weeks splatter fest is going to see a few changes compared to usual. This week we'll be joining into the IR 500 railz event and will be starting at 8:00pm EST. This is an endurance game and is always quite fun.

Server will be on the IRTDM2 server. Just Goto
