I think we've resolved that issue on most of the servers.

But, players will get kicked if their IP falls within of one of our subnet bans, for instance...

And if they think the ban is not meant for them, they should PM console...

Ok I am getting ticcked off, in all the time I have played Q2 I have never been kicked for any reason... Its happening to me too, and if you lookup this account, I am an old tastyspleen player, been playing Q2 for years. I keep getting kicked I even tried updating my Anticheat.dll and still get kicked, Whats up with that? I was aslo [BTF]TGA, THe maker of alot of the TGA, 4C3 maps, I can't believe this is happening.... can someone please resolve this, I would love to get back to playing Quake2 when I want or get bored, thanks, and hope to hear from someone soon on this.

hold tight. I sent the admins a message on IRC, so that they notice this quicker.

It's probably a simple matter of them altering the ban that was setup for someone else, in order to allow you through.

It is just a subnet ban that will/can be fixed shortly. Sorry it has affected you, but there are certain trouble makers that had to be dealt with.

Hi,

Looks like it'll have to wait till I get back from QuakeCon.

They've blocked almost all ports this year, except 80 and 443. IRC was working briefly this morning, but then it was blocked too.

So, I can't get a secure shell into tastyspleen to edit the ban file.
